It is really sad what has become of CO. I remember when going to the movies use to be an event. Gone are the days when you got a nice smile from staff, gone are the days when they are well groomed, gone are the days of thank you and your welcome. ALso gone are the days of nachos and cheese. See that was the only reason I ever went to movies in the theatres. I would order your nacho meal with triple extra cheese and they would soak my nachos. Well I went to a movie recently and this theatre and they changed to this really horrible tasting cheese, they sold it in these individual containers.. where here I was dumping cheese on my nachos which is not easy to do. THe little packs you use to have were much better.. the squeeze ones cause doing it this way you end up getting half on the seats..."

Why do you need my phone number?  So you can annoy me with a phone call?  Why do you need my mailing address?  You have no idea how dangerous a game you play... you do not annoy a web nerd.. you do not annoy the Gebadia.. the man who built a facebook app designed to highlight companies like yours that piss him off...

I went to see transformers today.  Usually I go to a Cinoplex odean theater but because you changed your cheese and have poor service I cannot.  Why do I need a date?  Do you think these are date specific?  Don't ask me dumb questions cause as my friends say you will bring out angry nerd and when that happens... do you want angry nerd.. there he goes.. arggg....

See the correct answer is to say I understand your frustrated not to ask me crap questions.. cause when you do that.. I get pissed.. and why do you want to make me angry.. why... nooo... see it is happening.. you did it..

youtube, blogs, facebook, yelp..,. did I say 7 different blogs.. did I... and twitter.   Don't you get it.. when your company pisses me off I will take my iphone, I will take my PC and make you famous online...

It is not an isolated event.  Have you been to a theatre recently in Edmonton?  The level of service, the level of proffesionalism, getting someone to smile and say thank you is a thing of the past. 

In the old days when they all had a clue little things like opening the door before a movie got out was done.  You had staff that was clean shaven.  Nowadays the service is crap.  And your solution is to forward my complaint to a manager who is responsible for this. 

The most annoying part was when you did have good cheeze I would have to beg to pay to get my nachos soaked.  

So it was everytime I went to a movie in the past 4 years.  But then I had that wonderful cheeze to help me survive.. take away that and all you have left is a poorly run company which you are, a poorly run theatre which it is.. leaving people like me to either go elsewear or watch a bootlegged version online..

Frankly I don't care no more.. you cannot tell me the theatres that have the old cheeze.. and I have lost faith in your company to understand the movie experience...but that is ok... once my website stuff takes off, I will buy a theatre.. compete against you and put you out of business which wouldn't be hard cause you all are clueless...

Did I really send this.. nahhh... what is the point.. they got rid of my cheese.. this guy is some idiot making $10 an hour.. it is the owners.. the top level people who screwed up movies.. it should be an event.. something to remember.. something magical and now.. well you want to know what happened to the people pumping your gas.. they now work at Cinoplex Odean..

The fact that I can't keep all my video via username on my music buy sites.. keep it and when I want to watch I download and watch..movies take up way too much space on my PC, besides I want to down and upload sets for trips.. make it easy... stupid simple.

BMO, TD you both get an F for your password system... Royal Bank you get a A relative to them..

I am a web geek.. I spend most of my time online as I have no life.. one of the things that has always been an interest to me is passwords, our secret key to our information online.  I am sure many a company struggles with the danger of allowing people to access information online.. many a bank does which is why I find it odd that in general my gmail password is mathimatically harder to hack than my online banking account.. my facebook is more secure, my youtube is more secure...

Now I know you are going to say huh... well lets just look at 3 banks

BMO (Bank of Montreal) :  6 numbers or letters.. that is right 6, just 6... I said are you fuckin kidding me to the guy on the phone.. he said no.. I can I trust my money to your bank when you have the worst password system I have ever seen in my life.. 6.. to get a YouTube account I need at least 8 characters and they even let me use the funky $%##@ letters... 

That means basically a computer program built to hack my account only has to look at passwords that contain numbers and letters, both lower case and upcase 6 characters long..

Maybe you can do that math.. how many possible passwords could there be... well a lot less than TD

TD:  Truth is they are not much better..5-8 letter or numbers, upper or lower.. ok a bit better...but still I can't even get a password on YouTube unless I have 8 characters and in most cases unlike TD it will tell me the password is weak if I used a true word...

again this means that in terms of the password and I am only talking about the password a computer program simply has to worry about number letter combinations in lower and upper that are between 5-8 characters long..

And when I pointed this out to TD they said your money is guarenteed... I have to laugh at this because all our money in banks is guarenteed.. at least up to some certain amount.. just do you want to have your identity stolen because all yoru finacial information is contained in your bank account...

Royal Bank:  Finally I came accross a bank that just gets it.. and I am going to have to change my account to them.. 8-32 number letter characters.. now it is not perfect because it should allow for special characters but there are millions of more possible password choices with a Royal Bank online password system than with TD and BMO...

Now I know you will say it doesn't matter but it really does because online fraud is more profitable than drugs.. it is a billion dollar business.  These banks tell us to be carefull all the time but when they don't at least try to give us the proper tools which is a modern password system isn't it a bit hypocrytical? 

To me... TD and BMO need to get there act together and the reason they don't is because it would require work.. all banks likely use an old DOS system for their number crunching because the older stuff is very secure.. they all likely have layered security and I am not making any comments on that..

If I was a math person and maybe you are I would go through and say how many possible passwords for each... common sense tells me that Royal Bank is a better password system.. and should tell you.. how secure is your money..

These are the questions we should ask... and so take a look, call your bank and leave a comment if yours is different.. go to my app at http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=15039045275  and go to urlsmack, search for your bank via the url (bmo.com) and leave a suggestion.. which is why I created cybersweetness because it is not only up to us to make the internet secure.. it is up to these big corporations to at least have a password system as secure as YouTube, Facebook, GMAIL.. after all it is our money.. and the last thing I want is to go on a date and have my card decline because someone stole all my money... sure I will get it back but I ain't getting laid that night..

Pizzahut you still are clueless

It is always a little sad to see these big legit companies like www.pizzahut.ca simply not get it when it comes to the internet.  First off all pizza companies should use a facebook app.. why you would not make it possible to order from facebook or from a mobile phone app is idiotic.. almost as idiotic as asking for information before letting a persn order food.  Go to www.pizza73.com and you get to select what you want and then order which should be common sense but the problem is the people who create websites tend to spend more time in front of a computer than talking to normal everyday people.. see it is about giving people more reason to finish the order.. IF I take the time to select the order, select what I want, I am more hungry and I have one more reason to finish the order.  When I see a text entery box first I leave the website and go elsewears.. just the way it works.. furthermore I hate small text boxes..

So what I do when I see a company like this I blog about it, and then I got to http://cybersweetness.com and go to urlsmack and add this as a suggestion.

I have sent emails telling you guys to stop fucking spamming me over again and like a virus you keep coming back.. so I am going to tell my success story because you are going to get gebasize.. how many fucken times do I have to tell you to leave me the fuck alone.  I even have an email form you guys saying do not contact this guy.. you don't listen.. so this is going to become public.. I am going to go through your website and highlight every flaw.. I have such a gift for that.. I am going to show the public how icontact powers the annoying emails we get in our inbox.. I am going to highlight the fact you worm your way past spam blockers.. I am also going to highlight the fact you have to no respect for people.. and I am going to make myself famous doing it.. so keep sending me these spams.. keep bothering me and it will show how the user actually has the power in the internet to hurt companies that spam... like you..

I am sorry for getting to so mad redux...

I am one of those people who lets anger get ahold of them... because often that is how users see the internet.  I am trying to make companies understand that you have to be very careful.  See in my previous post I went after redux very hard and part of the reason I am pulling back is because I guess I am afraid someone will sue me.. there is no such thing as freedom of speech anymore.  I suppose I should be comforted that the reason people don't sue bloggers is because to do so is public suicide in that all bloggers will rip a company for using the legal system to stifle freedom of speech.  Am I not allowed to vent... to say what I feel... I was very angry at redux.  I get angry using the web.. my mom gets angry..    it is genetic.. we get spammed so much, we get bombarded with websites that won't let us leave.. we click on ads and are taken to these sites that don't seem real.. when we try to get help often we are ignored..

Now for me the greatest thing a company can do is just acknowledge my anger... WOW for example when I got mad said we can't promise we will make changes but you have been heard... and that made a difference to me... so did redux responding

Web chronicles: I hate companies that use trickery to keep you on their site...

I know a guy here in Facebook.. I know he works at Redux and I wish him all the luck in the world but his company practices what I call shaddy business techniques..see he posted a video in his Facebook profile.. I clicked on it and it took me to this redux page. I watched the video and then clicked the youtube video itself because every single youtube video I have ever used takes me back to youtube.com.. this site didn't..why? because it doesn't want you to leave the webpage.. it wants to keep you on redux.. it doesn't want it to be a choice and in my mind any website that says we don't want to give you a choice is shaddy.. and this says to me they are inadequate and this is the exact reason I built this app and urlsmack because this our web not these arrogant developers who want to trick us, manipulate us, fuck us over so we stay on there sites.. it is like those websites you click through to from google and you click back and it won't let us.. or you get some popup annoying the fuck out of us..

It is time us users got to get, gave the middle finger to these sites and said fuck you.. and we twitter about it, we blog about it, we youtube about it and we smack it in urlsmack in http://cybersweetness.com where we suggest that these companies shape out or shipout

One of the problems I have with engineers in general is they are complete idiots when it comes to marketing. More often than not the trend is to build it and they will come. It is like all internet nerds were shown field of dreams and think hey that is all we need to do. Now I won't say that doesn't happen if you have a great product.. but in todays cyber world the number of websites and apps is in the millions.. it leaves peoples heads spinning.

The simple act of trying to get a person to slow down and learn your software... your website, how to use it is extraordinary...which is why marketing is not only important to reach clients but also important in terms of teaching people how to use your services...

Now just to give you a little background on dexrex, I sat next to the CEO on a flight.. we got to talking and we even thought about trying to do a side project together which didn't happen because he s running DexRex.. now your probably saying what is dexrex? Well dexrex is a service which will take your SMS, your gchat and msn and other such services and archive the conversations in a private searchable database... It collects your private feed.. your online and mobile diary of your life...truth is it is a pretty useful service hidden behind a god awful URL.. and it is god awful.. it is boring, it is not trendy.. it doesn't relate to what they are doing.. but fine.. what does a URL matter...

it is not like you could buy a URL like www.smsmuch.com which is really the main selling point.. the idea that people don't want to delete their text messages but often have to because of phone memory... it is not like I offered that to Richard for free...cause I like the guy even if his company is clueless when it comes to marketing.. and they are clueless..

Any company online that does not have a Facebook Fan page, a social blog where the company takes the hard core technical stuff and breaks it down in simple english, a very active and fun twitter page, a company specific YouTube channel and a justin.TV live show and highlights it in eah employees Facebook profile... via http://cybersweetness.com is clueless.. and when they have a blog and it has the blogger navbar.. even more clueless..

See nobody contextualizes things.. a service like dexrex has a million different uses and if they were really interested in marketing they might make a bunch of other websites that market to genre specific.. a dexrex for business. a dexrex for parent.. a dexrex for those of us who love to sms... and have each have its own URL because that increases surface area and allows you to market each URL like say smsmuch to a specific genre of user because guess what you genius engineers.. all people see the world differently.. so take that god complex attitude you social inept dumb smart people who never get laid and realize that most people in this world will never see it as an engineer does..

Question TC about your crunchpad..

Where are you going to announce an app store for the crunch gear.. if you are having it touch screen why not have a way people can build custom touch widgets via a firefox extension for blogs.  Even ads. where you could have your ads switch based on touch screen.  It is a natural progression for the cunchpad.  In fact it is perfectly logical it would allow you to reduce the cost of the crunchpad, increasing your market share in poorer countries.  The prices and investive touch apps make it the ideal gadget for the 2nd and 3rd world.  The market size is way bigger there.. untapped.. lowcost phones are working.  Are you telling me you can't build a cellular add on and a skype phone.. your crunchpad is something you know will make you filthy rich...

Correct me if I am wrong isn't windows going touch screen.. hp has touch screen, microsoft is going that direction.. create a shared system.. where a percentage of the profitbs go to you and to sending these to 2nd and 3rd world countries.  The only way to prevent Genocide... of any kind is to give it prosperity.. a crunch pad with a solar add on and a dyanmic app store done through igoogle or something.. could make you very rich if you build in a way where people can buy google widgets...

Just a thought....having a Michael Phelps smoking good time.. muhahahahaha

the natural evolution is a touch screen app store for all app makers on all apps... lower the entrance of all sellers of apps.. make it profitable for apple to user yours... Truth is you could build it like Firefox.. open source most of it.. give people a way to make money and they will take are of the software....

I saw your add on TC for job openings and although the idea of applying intrigues me I am far to lazy to type out a resume.. so instead I thought I would give you my two cents cause I bored. 

1.  No data portability:  It is getting to the point or will get to the point where if the user does not see facebook friends connect, google connect.. or twitter connect they will just leave and think this company wants to make my life hard.  You don't know how many times users go through those forms and fail.  Just seeing the facebook friends connect is a relief..

2. text is way too small and too much.  Who wants to read so much.

3.  Black guy on the homepage.  Do you really think the world is that progressive?  Is that your prime market.  A friend of mine said to me that 50% of the people down south wouldn't use a website I had because it had blackplanet on it. 

4. Free trial:  When I see free 15 day trial it means you are going to ask me for my CC... and then automatically charge me.. if industry standard is correct aka box.net then you will say to cancel the account I have to call you because it is not secure to cancel an account online which then begs the question how is it secure to start an account online.  Why not adopt the 2 gigs free and then the option to upgrade.. it works for Mozy because they understand the users media is enough to make them pay the $5 a month.

5.  Ease of use:  You don't do enough to show the user how easy it is.. people think backup and they think it is hard.  You have to do a better job combating that.

6.  Security: There is this idea info will get hacked.. or you guys can see my info.  That is a big one that nobody answers... is my info hidden from you..

7.. Firefox favicon.  You need a transparent background.  How can you hope to keep my info safe when you can't get something small like that right.

9.. Ijustine the mozy girl:  Youtube stars have credibility with people.  Get sxephil and if you don't know who he is then you obviously need to work on your marketing.  his videos get 200 000 to a millio views a day...  

10.  Payment plants suck:  do a monthly plan.  Use paypal, amazon dev pay, and now facebooks new payment system.  Also integrate paybycash.  It is silly how hard we make it to pay for the things online.

11. Mobile and apps:  It is a cobweb world.  Give people access to their files where they go.. a good backup system is like a space station and it should worm hole to your facebook and phone and PC's.  Need a pic.. no worries.


That should get you started.. here all week..

Die you fucken engineers..

People wonder why I hate engineers...well it is because the ones I work with are what I call 30 year old virgins with god complexes... the reason I say this is because today one of them had the nerve to say your app is just another get rich scheme... because I said I want to get rich.. It is the dumbest statement in the world and if you ever read you idiot engineer, take a fork and stick it in a light socket cause you shouldn't reproduce. EVERY person in this world wants to get rich. Does it seem like a scheme? The fact that my mother mortgaged her house should tell you it isn't about getting rich.

I have been doing this for 3 years. I am sharing aspects of my life in my www.gebalove.com that I don't want to share it is just I can't afford to get my app to where it needs to be to make money. I need to make money off my youtube pages and my blogs... but I am not trying to get rich.. I just want to be free. Here I feel trapped. I work for a boss who makes suicide seem like a good option. I am surrounded by the most ignorant fuckers like this stupid engineer who loves to point holes in everything.

The app helps people find the top website and if you all knew how to add the profile box you would see this..

Sometimes you come across companies that just don't get it.. the people running the websites are idiots, those who manage the companies are idiots, those who let them advertise there products are idiots.  Once of those companies is si.com... sports illustrated that just can't grasp the concept you don't fuck with a sports fan and his content... it blows my mind.. how anyone with a basic understanding of people would think an annoyed person and popups annoy people would ever feel motivated to buy the product displayed.. personally I say fuck you to anyone who gets in the way of my sports.. because of SI.. I will never watch sopranos.. I would never use circuit city and I will never stay at a holiday inn.. plus the hampton inns are 10 times better..

It is an interesting idea to help people. That sales tactic to find an area your an expert at and just focus on giving people hard truthful answers. Stuff you needed to here. Now I knew Zach was selling me something half way through.. at first I was so desperate for help. This whole web world is confusing. So many ups and downs... engineers quit, get sick, using local, far away.. it is a nightmare..

I wanted to give zach idea but I started to kiss his ass... well now that he feels loved...DCS system.. distributed control systems and the really expensive software for these systems need a dam app store..

The way sales are done in the industry is brutal. The sales people are these head strong idiot engineers who sell like engineers. People do trips, spend a fortune on selling this crap, just trying to reach clients.

You could easily get a 10% finders feed for most products which range from $10 000 to millions. All you have to do is for the software just provide some wiki with, built in screencast, add skype and webinar right in.. get a demo on your coffee break webinars built in..

All you have to do is match product to DCS system, build in user rating system, forums, a social site done where companies can sell there product.. use linked in and facebook of course.. There are like 10 DCS things.. say 30 sets of software for each of those systems.. add ons that do centain things. apps.

Pick your system, pick your area, these are the products that can help you. Want to see why these products help your engineers.. etc...etc.. while paper section, screancast..

I have the market.. I talk to 2000 engineers a year all over the world who talk to others.. build me a social search engine with linkd and and facebook apps, that connects people.. in this industry and the products they use..

I will make you rich... I wonder if this will get people's attention.

Everyweek I get one email from a company I actually look forward to and that is travelzoo.com.  They send me a list of the best flight and hotel deals in my geographic region of the world.  Now maybe I can't afford to go on any of these trips, but occasionally I can...so I love me travelzoo...hmmm do I love them enough though to favorite them in my http://cybersweetness.com hmmm nah...
