Sometimes when you try to buy things online, try to get information online you want to scream out "I am not fucken American, not everybody in the world is American you arrogant fuckers." Now I have nothing against Americans, I just hate how often these big businesses think everyone is like Americans. You see this in data collection forms where they use the word state and zipcode when if your from Canada you have a province and postal code. The funny thing is when you point it out to someone they usually don't think it is a big deal... typical... well maybe to you it isn't but when your from another country it is a slap in the face. What you couldn't Google to see what they call things in other countries.. have it change when the user selects the country? No.. ok.. well then how about not assuming everyone else practises thanksgiving on the same day American does... cause in Canada the pilgrims game a few weeks earlier and then headed to the US.. don't know if that is true..
See twice in the past 2 years I have gotten happy thanksgiving emails from companies.. one costed Rackspace having me host on their servers. I mean honestly if they can't get my thanksgiving right how the hell are they going to figure out something like hosting a website? Then just recently some SEO expert who likes to spam me did the same thing. Even worse when I pointed this out to him he asked me what was the date? I haven't responded because I would have to say .. go to google, type in Canadian Thanksgiving... I don't feel like being an ass to his face cause if he don't know how to google then he has enough problems. I got a question for all you americans.. at what poin does it stop becoming funny to see someone answer Mexico when Jay Leno says what are our neighbors to the north and just become embarrassing.. Education in the so good you can't even google and don't know what north is...
