Yesterday I had the guy from posterous go through my account and figure out why I couldn't sync a few of my other sites. IT was because I was using my email instead of my username. I consider myself to be somewhat intelligent but I have stupid moments. That said when a friend or a colleague says check out this website it will save you time I listen and consider it.
Unfortunateley the people in the office I work at are so arrogant towards people without degrees they couldn't be bothered to hear anything I have to say. First I told them about jingproject which is a very useful tool for testing. About 4 months later one guy finally tried it out and said man this saves me a lot of time. Does anyone else use the tool? No because I the guy without a degree said it was good. I also told people in the office about xoopit. It is a firefox plugin which will allow you to sort through your attachments superfast. It is extremely useful and still nobody listens.
See that is the problem with companies. Arrogant people cost the company money by not utilizing many of the good services online. It is like posterous. If you have a blog and you are not using posterous to update it, I want you to go to the doctor and ask him or her to make you sterile because you are a stupid person.. and we all saw what happened when a stupid person ran the US... we just can't afford to let it happen again so we need to protect the gene pool..
The internet is about clicks and surface area.. with posterous you have the ability to show your blog off in multiple areas.. it is kind of like franchising your content in different areas of the world where areas are blog platforms.
This is kind of why I built my application http://cybersweetness.com I wanted a way to see what are the websites people around me are using because smart people understand technology can give us more time with our friends and family... oh yah if you are using IE.. just run out in front of traffic...cause IE is crap compared to chrome or Firefox.
