definition of cowards

I work in an office where we sell software. One software program and our sales our going down. Instead of spending the time developing proper justification documents the bosses attitude is if someone can't justify it through talking about it, then we don't want to sell them. Instead of having all oour points of intereaction building on what we are saying as we work with a cleint my boss doesn't want to bother to plan. His idea is you should be able to talk and talk and talk some more until someone buys. He doesn't seem to understand that it is a reccession. It won't get better in a year it will get worse. My boss also doesn't believe the internet drives sales. My boss is an idiot.
